How the 1 GB cap works

Storage controls apply to uploaded files such as X-rays, prescriptions, reports and photos. Normal clinic records remain available.
Uploads continue normally while the clinic is comfortably inside its free allowance.
New images are compressed to help the remaining space last longer while preserving practical viewing quality.

Is CapDent really free?
Yes. Every clinic-management feature is available without a feature subscription, and each clinic receives 1 GB of cloud storage.
What counts toward the 1 GB limit?
Uploaded files such as X-rays, prescriptions, reports, patient photographs, before-and-after images, profile pictures and clinic branding use the storage allowance.
What happens when my clinic reaches 1 GB?
New uploads pause until you delete files or choose a larger storage plan. Existing files remain accessible, and patient records, appointments, visits, payments, staff and reports continue working.
Do paid storage plans unlock extra features?
No. Free and paid clinics receive the same CapDent features. Paid plans increase only the cloud-storage allowance.
